Privacy and Safety​

Safety is the top priority for participants and staff.  Gray Ducks YFL adheres to industry best practices to ensure the safety and privacy of all participants. 
​
In our continuing efforts to assure a safe environment for all program participants, we require child protection training for all faculty, staff and volunteers working with our  youth.

Privacy

Gray Ducks staff and youth are not allowed to share the following information:
  • Last name
  • Contact information
  • Employer
  • School 
  • Social media. ​

Safety

The following activities are not allowed by Gray Ducks staff and youth:
  • Fighting 
  • Financial abuse 
  • Physical contact
  • Sexual contact
  • Verbal abuse.

Rule of Three​

​Gray Ducks YFL adheres to the "Rule of Three". At least  2 adult Gray Ducks staff must be present with Gray Ducks youth at all times. Staff at no point are permitted to be alone with any Gray Ducks youth.  

We require staff and volunteers to report  suspected child abuse or neglect to proper authorities.
